Haven’t we had multiple kids with a complex story that started a bit rough and it was 2-3 years down the road until they got their feet under them and the talent and production started to show? We’ve targeted a number of kids who have stories in their last year or two of eligibility. I know nothing about the entire situation here but it seems warranted that there is something powerful as a coach and program if you can help get those kids through all of it and then they can stick with and produce at your program. It sort of fits the whole mentality of making them better men and owning that mantra…

Five cent beers at Hungry Charlie's in the 70's were fun but the beer was college kid swill. Also cheap pitchers of Margherita, I think they were 2 bucks. Hangover guaranteed. I held the high score on Space Invaders for a while. I have always said it takes some discipline for SU students to moderate enough to get out with a degree. My first roommate was kicked out halfway through Sophomore year. I think his GPA was .2. Whatever KJE is or is not doing he has time and youth on his side to get right. Somebody needs to make sure he knows both are limited.

David O is bigger and stronger. KJ could only get by holy cross oline. Seems like a kid with good intentions but I don’t think he knows what he wants. I wish him luck. We need to play David O more than we did against Tennessee. Had 6 tackles and got 1 pressure from what I saw,

The Hungries were fun, the managers were good guys, and the sprayer in the kitchen sink could take paint off. Carrying kegs of beer down the alley steps wasn't much fun, though. I was one of their best customers during the early 70’s. After a BBall game at Manley was the best place to go after a Varisty pizza.
