Syracuse probably gets in even with a loss to Colgate, but the Orange would be wise not to chance it. …

They've fallen into the same Penn trap.

Sheesh. It's really not that hard. Make a realistic scenario. Just make Penn the Ivy champ and Yale an at-large. Since they have no other Ivies in there, that's what they are saying, essentially.

They all have Penn envy.

What if Penn beats Yale and loses to Cornell/Brown?

Then thatOSU is probably out and the Ivy Champ replaces them because Penn has a higher RPI than thatOSU and would still have a .500 record.

Even with a loss to Colgate, it will very difficult for the comittee to deny Cuse a bid given they have the #1 SOS in the country (per Laxpower). More concerned about winning on Saturday to give us some hope going forward.

Faceoffs will be a huge issue at Denver. Not the best matchup.

UVA needs to be moved to the #3 see bracket. Then we can have the ACC Championship II on Memorial Day Weekend.

Syracuse can beat any tourney team, if the good Orange teams shows up...for four quarters. Unfortunately, having team schizophrenia, they can lose to any tourney team, too.

This is now on the coaching staff to keep the team winning, starting with Colgate. A five game win streak to close out the season would be great!

I agree that Baptiste would likely eat SU's lunch on faceoffs. Other than that, I would be more comfortable with SU playing Denver over Hopkins or Loyola in round 1.

IF, Syracuse can win this weekend, and Denver takes a tumble in the Big East final, then SU might still have an outside chance at a home game.
