I'll miss seeing him carry linebackers into the endzone, but he's leaving with the program in a good place. Yasin got a year under him and is going to put up huge numbers next year.

as LeQuint prepares departs for the draft, I will have an extra appreciation for him knowing the work he did to transform himself into that caliber of back. I have like a Rachaad White vision for him rn, although I think he can be a better runner. However, that skill set will always have a spot in NFL. Unfortunately, it’s also the nature of the beast as a RB to have to try and take advantage as early as possible.

At a minimum, I believe he will be a solid special teamer based on his toughness and outstanding effort. That’s a great starting point to work his way into a running back role somewhere.

Precisely. I only got optimistic about him returning in last week as I thought there was no chance before. Honestly he put up some great numbers this year and i hope he kills at the combine.

I know he wanted to get his draft grades before deciding so he has to declare to do that. Guess there's a small chance he could pull out ahead of the Feb. 7 deadline still.

He stood by SU when many would have bailed. He played with a reckless abandon at times and left it all on the field. He was a key part of this very special team this year.

Plus, he really didn't have anything left to prove at this level.

McCord & LQA could both improve their draft positions w 1 more year.
