I will acknowledge that is “seems” like UCF would’ve put up a better fight than ND, but seeing LSU DL maul their OL, Clemson’s would’ve absolutely massacred them and they don’t have their entire Secondary sitting out.

This wasn’t a defenseless QB 20 yards from the play getting blown up. Burrow was running toward the interceptor trying to make a tackle. Totally legal block, shoulder to shoulder. Refs and replay confirmed it.

Well, as crazy as it sounds, unless Syracuse or Georgia can do anything about it, probably going to have Round 5 next year with Tua and Lawrence both returning.

yea, that is a muff. Just like a catch maintain possession through contact with the ground.

Total yardage in this game is 545 to 195. LSU has dominated. 3 mental mistakes are the reason it’s a 16 point game instead of 33.

Now they just had two PFs on one sack.

It’s not easy for LSU to get excited about playing UCF. UCF hit on Burrow woke LSU up.

I’m sure they were somewhat motivated, but when this is UCF’s Super Bowl each year and guys like Greedy Williams aren’t playing, it’s tough to gauge.

Syracuse begs to differ, at least as it applies to Clemson. But, otherwise, I agree with your point.

Good game. Mack sucks as a QB. It was there for the picking by UCF but they couldn’t overcome his passing inefficiencies.

You’d have to think Milton won’t be back next year. Hopefully he can return by 2020. He’s a great college QB.

It would have been nice to see Milton vs a full strength LSU team. Still think LSU wins, but it would have been a different game.

Lotta whatifs for UCF. Dropping that wide open TD would have made it 34-28 at the time was huge after the punt muff.

Still the dispairity in line play was obvious. If they were trying to prove an AAC team deserves a shot at a NC they failed against the third and 4th string LSU secondary.
