Why so personally offended? Fran is being full of shite with what he says about Collins as if we don’t have eyes. You are fine with it, doesn’t mean I have to be. That interview was gaslighting.
It’s frustrating when he says Ricky is our best option. He may be but I do know Ricky will not win us games unless they intend to drastically change the O which I do not see happening. Hopefully Rickey throws less than two picks Saturday. Maybe we can hang in there if we limit turn over. I think the over / under is 3. I had four against Pitt. Sad going into games we have to consider how many picks the qb may throw.

It was a crazy interview.

Saying that we don’t have a QB who is ready to play. Not succeed but just play. How in the heck do you go into a season like that? Plus that directly contradicts Spring Fran and Summer Fran.

Then to say the QB with the best potential, he won’t name him let alone play him? So many things make no sense with this one.

For Collins and Carney, how does that not push you out the door? Or give you any confidence?

If you have a QB with potential, wouldn’t it make sense to give that QB first team practice reps now? And game time? Wouldn’t that accelerate their development?

For the fans, wouldn’t naming said QB give us hope and keep us engaged? Instead we are forced to watch Collins?

Lastly to say Collins finished the Pitt game strong? Seriously? He actually played worse statistically. He was sacked twice vs not being sacked before. His completion % went way down. He threw a pick. He did run the ball well, I’ll give him that. But overall it was poor QB play and not making us competitive. We have eyes Fran.

My eyes actually believed Rickie improved as well - and I don’t think we can win with him at this point. He made the right decision to run a few times and that interception was pass interference.
