We may never know why so many people were saying it was approved; maybe it was but they weren't gonna make it official unless he was going to stay, due to the headaches it would cause with precedence. We just don't know what happened with the appeal until we hear something official.

He's the best I've ever seen play quarterback for Syracuse and I doubt I'll ever get to watch anybody better. It really was a magical four months and that just doesn't happen without Kyle. He should never have to pay for anything in the 315 again.

Unbelievable year for McCord & Syracuse football… first “we’re back & we belong!” feel in many years. Thanks Kyle! It’s a significant loss (obviously), but I’m also intrigued & excited to see what Fran Brown does in response. He’s certainly proven he deserves trust & belief after season 1… go do it!

I think there were some on here that were claiming independently regardless of the appeal that McCord REALLY wanted to go pro and if he got the feedback that he was going to be drafted he would go.

He also committed to that senior bowl game which means you give up your eligibility.

Lequint didn’t accept his invite until after he declared.

The writing was really on the wall, I think we were all just hopeful he would change his mind.

It sucks for us as fans because watching McCord play was special.

But I truly think he’s making the best decision for himself and that’s what it honestly should come down to.

I wish him the best and I personally am beyond grateful that he will be an ambassador now for our program

Good for Kyle! Looking forward to hearing his name called this April (or May?). I think it was a smart move to go to the draft this year because it is thought of as a weak QB class and it is really murky in terms of QB draft order rankings after the first 2. He can really propel himself up to an earlier round because of all of the question marks at the QB position. I’m sure he will be able to impress one team to snag him earlier than many expect right now. I’ll be rooting for him on Sundays!

yeah, the Giants were the first thing I thought of as well. With Watson out for the season now, there is a good chance that Cam/Sanders will be both be off the board at #3. So thinking the GMen should wait until the 2nd round (3rd pick, 35th overall), and there is a decent chance that one of these 3 will still be on the board (McCord, Dart, Milroe). Then they can sign a bridge guy like Fields or Darnold for a year while the rookie develops.

Look, I love Kyle and am deeply thankful for his time at Cuse, but fans will riot if the Gmen use a second-round pick on another sub-elite Syracuse QB prospect

I’m hoping Nixon is one of the reasons Kyle did so well. Lets hope he has that same magic with next years quarterback. The pressure in now fully on Fran. Did he win because of Kyle or does he have the start of a true program makeover? Let’s hope it wasn’t just because he had a very good quarterback.

There is plenty of good ITK information posted here regularly by good ITK posters and to them, I give you my thanks.

People don't have to share the things they know, so I am always grateful to hear such information, since I have no ITK connections myself.

You do often do have to sort through the posts and posters and read between the lines sometimes, as some information can be lacking truth, but generally the good ITK guys are just that.
