Me? With nothing to say?

Do you bring any value to this forum whatsoever?

Don't bother answering--the answer is self-evident.
Depends on your definition of value, and whether he gets royalties for those Roomba plugs.

Just looked at tomorrow's tee-time sheet at my club... and I see I am playing in front of a foursome that includes ESPN's Ivan Maisel and Skip Bayless (and two names I don't recognize).

Given that I have nothing intelligent to say to them, does anyone have a suggestion? (Maisel is a member of my club, but I do not know him).
I could make a joke that you shouldn't say anything intelligent to Bayless or you'll confuse him. But that would be a cheap shot, so I won't do it.;)

tell Skip that the cowboys signing Dez Bryant was huge!!! take a picture with Skip doing the x sign like Dez does. Then post it here. Skip is a big cowboy fan. Also ask Skip about his book Hellbent. Then tell Skip thx for showing Carmelo love in the week leading up to the final 4. H kept saying, "no one is stopping Carmelo Anthony"

Maisel gave SU Football a first-place vote in the AP Poll in 1993...

He'll always be ok in my book.

It's just so beautiful to look at. I wonder who the other kind soul was.

I've played all five of yours snd, of them, I like CCF and Yale the best. Obviously, I am partial to my home course (Brooklawn), but I actually like some of the public courses ... among them Lake Isle, Quarry Ridge and Lyman Orchard. CT is blessed with an incredible number of good golf courses.

  • Brooklawn is a tremendous course, lucky you! Both at L of I are great imo. I play at Madison CC which was just redone. If you re ever in the area , let me know , would love to show our new course off.

Tell Skip that you are better at life than he is.

Maisel has been very fair to Syracuse during his time at ESPN and as Carolina Cuse said, offering sympathies to him and his family on behalf of the Syracuse fans would certainly be appreciated.

His wife is from Syracuse and they have spent many summers in the Syracuse area. The son was in Syracuse the last few days of his life before driving on to Rochester where he went to College.

I apologize, CTO.
Apparently, depression has an eroding effect on grace. I should have let it go, but let's just say i was 'in a bad place,' and past issues found their way back into my head.

Quarry Ridge and Lyman Orchard, if I remember right, were former sites for the Boneyard Open. I liked them both a lot.

That place in Hartford with the dead bodies and dirt tee boxes, not so much. I think it was called Keney Park.

You are correct on all counts. All three were sites of the Boneyard Open. I liked Quarry Ridge and Lyman Orchards. Kenny Park, not so much.
