NBA 2017-2018 thread

They need a guy who can score off the bench and give the second time a guy to lead.

That is why Ainge likes Evans. I don’t want the guy.

He's played well. But on a bad team. So i get the trepidation.

Philip Jackson’s tenure will be remembered by how Porzingis does and this awful contract.
The Knicks can offer the 1 and anyone not named KP...as long as the recipient takes Noah too.

To move Noah the Knicks would need to include this year’s first unprotected minimum.
That contract is one of the 5 worst in basketball.
It’s not worth it anyway unless LeBron would go to the Knicks they don’t need the cap space this summer.

ESPN reporting Lebron is open to discussing a contract with the Warriors in the offseason smh.

The timing of that leak is very convenient. Hard to see it as more than putting more pressure on the Cavs FO to add a player.

I've learned to never say never with NBA transactions, but I'm not sure how they could pull this one off.

I agree but Cleveland has 4 assets they can move.
Thompson
Isaiah Thomas
Brooklyn pick
Their pick

Their pick isn’t valuable.
Thompson isn’t really that good especially with that contract.
Thomas is a rental and wants to get paid.
Brooklyn pick is valuable but Cleveland can’t move it if LeBron is leaving.

They are relying on another team doing them a favor to get better without moving the Brooklyn pick.
They are in trouble.

I hear you. They need to add something. It seemed like the George Hill deal was done, and then...nothing. Not that Hill is a world beater.

It's clearly a power play from his camp. He isn't going to GSW. No way. He will never go to a team where him being the #1 player is in question. His legacy matters to him

Silver would have to step in and say...No Fluckin Way.

Outside of Houston I really don’t know where LeBron will go.
I don’t see him going to any East team.
San Antonio he isn’t going there.

If he goes anywhere else he is just playing for 2nd.

Houston is the front runner, imo.

Lakers and Clippers will have a chance pending who they can get with Bron.

Pop will always get one call. Don't think he would ever end up in San Antonio, but they'll at least get a call.

It’d be pretty crazy to see him will Lill or Wall in Portland or Dc

Wizards have no cap room. That is why the team has a great starting 5 but no depth. 3 players on max deals eats your cap so they better be good.
Wizards are good to compete but not good enough to win anything.

LeBron isn’t going to Portland.
Dark horse is Philly if he wanted to stay in the East.
However I see it.
Houston
Lakers
Clippers
Cavs
Spurs
76ers
In that order.

Realistically, it should be Philly, right?
