Dumb and Greedy decision by Fox. Why more of these upcoming young studs don't decline their first extensions and go to free agency to get themselves to bigger better markets. NY, Brooklyn, LA, Miami, Chicago etc.

I’m going to assume that $200 million dollars is more money than 99.999999999999999999999999999999% percent of humans will be making in the next 5 years. There are only like 5 dudes in the world who should be turning that down (Lebron, Steph, KD, Giannis etc) everyone else needs to sign on the dotted line. If it doesn’t work out, then force your way out later

also why is it dumb to take this money? Are you suggesting that if he opts out and forces his way to let’s say the Knicks, he can somehow make more money long term in endorsements? What if he tears his Achilles ala Klay Thompson? Is anyone giving him the Max next year under those circumstances? I don’t think Fox would get that money

A questionable start to the Troy Weaver era in Detroit -- Plumlee, Okafor, Dedmon.

Jazz checking off two big boxes. Signing Jordan Clarkson to 4 year deal and Derrick Favors to 3 year. This really fills their big needs and strengthens their second five.

Ummm. Maybe he likes it there. Wait until Utah locks up Donovan Mitchell.

I just don't understand using their 1st round pick on a 5 if Favors was coming back.

Yeah because If I'm a young star NBA player Sacramento and Salt Lake City, Utah are def on the top of my list.

If I was advising these guys I would advise them to steer their way to their preferred destination in the NBA draft. Discussed this before Zion last year generational talent to come into the League had The Knicks picking 3rd and the Lakers picking 4th. He could have steered his way to either. Bypass New Orleans and Memphis. JA could have done the same thing. Told Memphis don't draft me. Any Top Lawyer coming out of Harvard Law can pick their own firm for example.

IDK. They had him pegged as the guy they wanted. In hindsight they could have traded the pick but they needed insurance at the 5. Especially on the defensive end. Tony Bradley wasn't the answer.

I guess. With Favors on a 3 year deal though that 1st round draft pick center never sees the court behind Gobert and Favors.

He'll get good experience battling those two in practice. Then he will get sent to G League so he doesn't get rusty and he can improve on his offensive game and best case scenario is that he won't need to play this year.

He won't need to play for his entire rookie contract.

My Knicks We cleared 40 million in cap space and haven't spent anything yet. What or Who are we waiting for ?
