NBA Thread 2020-21 Season

I watch a lot of Hawks games because of Kevin Huerter. Trae Young is a great talent. John Collins is a very good talent.
I think they have a nice team but doesn't look like their parts fit. I like Huerter a lot. Reddish seems like a waste of draft pick and I don't really get the offseason run on foreign shooters. Personally I think playin with Trae would be difficult, and I think they need to move some pieces.

Sounds like Seattle may get an expansion team. Always thought it was crappy the Sonics left there. Much more entertaining basketball town than OKC.
Where you hearing this?

They better be called the SuperSonics.

I will accept the Charlotte Hornets. I never accepted the Charlotte Bobcats.
They will be. That was part of the deal when the moved, like the Browns.

My Phoenix Suns are finally going to be competitive again. Wasn’t sure on the Oubre trade, but, looks to be fine so far.

finally excited for a season again.

Switch Philly and Toronto.

Switch Philly and Toronto.
This would set up the NBA to create a rivalry week where you play your rival home/home in the same week.

I agree with Philadelphia and Toronto but wanted to try and create some balance but yeah Boston-Philadelphia are rivals.

I'm sure something that happened 53 years ago would come into play.
It has until now. It’s why the Grizzlies wound up in Memphis and why Kroenke had to include a clause that he wouldn’t move the team to STL when he bought the Nuggets (that aged well).

I think New Orleans is more eastern than Minneapolis.

I thought about New Orleans but Minnesota fits that central division perfectly.
I don't want Minnesota and their perpetual crappiness to be rewarded with an easier path to competitiveness in the East.

Miami was in the Western conference in 1989.
Charlotte was in the Western conference in 1990.

Minnesota belongs in the East over New Orleans.
NO is further away for a majority of the East.
Texas, OKC, Memphis are close to NO.
