It's funny too, because I bet in 15-20 years or whatever a lot of people won't remember this, but when Lebron went to Miami and he was getting all the hate for creating a "super team" or whatever, Durant was the guy used as an example of "doing things the right way", (I think he signed an extension with OKC shortly after Lebron went to Miami to really drive the comparison home) and then look at how his career went from there.
On a (somewhat) similar note, it's kinda like how up until about May of 1991, Michael Jordan was considered a stats over wins guy who didn't have what it took to be a true winner, not like Bird or Magic (who, remember when he was called Tragic Johnson in the 84 finals?) and now he's remembered as the ultimate winner who always had what it took. life's funny is what i'm saying
