Actually a reasonable precaution. Biggest question is are the airlines giving refunds for people traveling to events that have need canceled or not allowing attendance.?

I love the posters who smirk at older people who are said to be "vulnerable" because of age and possible underlying health conditions. This 70-something fan is missing her first conference tourney in 35 years because ... it seemed like a good idea to avoid planes, airports and a crowded arena.

CTO, respectfully, no one is saying or implying (or "smirking", interesting choice of words) that all senior citizens are unhealthy. But the data is straight-forward. On average, the older you get, the more vulnerable to this virus you are.
