Pretty odd for a 5th year Grad Transfer. If he wasn't interested in graduate school, at least do the bare minimum to stay eligible.
Hopkins D has been so bad and Duke has dominated the X their hasn't been any game pressure on them.
Spent a lot of time with a couple hop lax alums last weekend. Said that good number of older alums actively email all alums looking for a change. More of the younger active alums are still behind petro. Two things he mentioned was disappointment in the offense and the fact that other than Nadelen there doesn't seem to be a better replacement. They also said they weren't sure Nadelen would want to replace Petro.
Their fondest hope is that Meeshigan hires Petro. On the LP game thread they said Nadelen wants the JHU job, but is willing to wait and Scott Marr doesn't want the JHU job or one at a school who regularly plays JHU until his son graduates.
In 1996 SU played Army at Cornell in the first round of the playoffs, similar weather but a little colder. Midway through the game the rain switched to snow. The following day was SU graduation, Mother's Day featured 4 inches of fresh snow. SU won the game 12-3.
