He will keep Abrams and hand it off to him in a few years (after another Eli SuperBowl Win).

I'd say this also puts Steve Wilks amongst the leaders for the HC job.

He will make the smart call on Webb and the draft. It's too important to let a rookie do it.

Most importantly...whatever he does with Eli, I will be ok with.

A possibility, IMO. But I have a feeling Gettleman goes with someone outside the organization and starts with a clean house, provided he has been given permission to do so.

Meh. this was a predictable move by the Giants and their ownership. I'm not big on Gettleman, and I would have liked to see the Giants at least look/interview outside candidates, and stop being the same ho hum toe the line Giants

There is going to be a ton of new HCs next year, I would imagine he’d get a DC job somewhere.

Some young offensive minded HC, could use a guy with his resume and reputation on that side of the ball for him.

Schwartz is a good coach.
He was good at Tennessee as DC.
He was the coach after Detroit went 0-16 and helped them.
He was really good as Marrone’s DC at Buffalo ask the Bills fans on here they loved him.
He has been good as Philly’s DC.
The guy deserves another HC chance.

He isn’t the Clapper.
