Philly Post Game show on Comcast Sports is torching the eagles.

Oh please Johnny Drama

TB only favored by 7.5 over WFT. Thought the line would be higher than that.

The self-control of the Eagles that it took for not a single player to fight Pederson is impressive. Gotta fire him.

I’m still mad. That might be in part because I have a girlfriend who is an Eagles fan and needed them to win for her to win a survivor pool who has since sent me to the couch to play COD.

But also because that was a disgrace to sports

Soooo Giants fan here. Today was an emotional roller coaster. I was a little buzzed last night when I picked my 4 team parlay. Wash -4 was the last game I needed. I didn’t even think of the playoff implications when I made the bet.

If I hadn’t made that bet, I prolly would have broken my Tv.That was the weirdest game ever.

Everyone needs to simmer down and realize that Jalen was 7-20 for 72 yards with 0 TD passes and 1 INT.. not like they benched Joe Montana

So we were told that part of the reason why Tua was made starter was to evaluate him for the purposes of steering their potential draft picks ... well if that’s the case ... didn’t he just open the door for the Dolphins to take another QB? His physical tools seem much more pedestrian than they seemed in college ... he’s neither particularly accurate, strong armed, mobile, or fast ...

No NFC East team deserves to be on prime time next season. If NBC schedules any of them they are stupid. Wait for the games to be flexed and see if anyone is good.

However Giants defensive back Logan Ryan let the Eagles off the hook, according to NBC Sports’ Peter King:

Fifteen minutes after the game, I got veteran Giants DB Logan Ryan on the phone. I’d hoped he’d come out with barrels blazing. “Wish I could give you the explosive stuff you wanted,” Ryan said a few minutes before midnight. “There will be a lot of opinions about whether they were trying to win. You want to play the game to win, but I don’t play for the Eagles, I don’t coach for the Eagles. It’s their team. Winning six games doesn’t give us much right to get pissed off about this. We didn’t play consistent enough all year to earn it.”

As a Cowboys fan- neither Dallas or NY would have reason to bitch about Philly. Win more of your games and you win the division. Don't let someone else's game dictate whether you make the playoffs.

Eh yeah. That mindset can be basically used for any situation ever where teams don’t control their own destiny or need some help, which happens all the time. In this case, being 6-10 sure it’s makes more sense but also can still be frustrated how last night went. Only natural.

Why did Wentz not dress? If he dressed and didn’t play it would be BS but is still a coaches decision. Wouldn’t him not being allowed to dress be a violation of NFLPA contract? He wasn’t hurt nor suspended. NFL should interview Wentz, who should throw Pedersen under the bus leading to a fine.

There 6-10, not 10-5 like Miami who got left out.

If you make that argument, then what's the right record where it isn't okay for an NFL team to actively try to lose a game with playoff implications?

7-9? 8-8? 9-7?

Pederson getting killed this morning.
He should be... As a Giants fan, I’m not mad we’re not in the playoffs, we won 6 games.

But, as a lifelong diehard NFL fan, I can’t get on board with that kind of tanking. There are too few games and too many implications

Sure, this time it was meh because the NFC East was porous this year. But when situational games like that have a greater impact to other components, it impacts the integrity of the game.

Nothing about the end of that game felt right.

If I’m an NFL franchise that is struggling I would hire John Dorsey as my GM. His fingerprints are all over Kansas City and Cleveland. If Philly was smart they would dump Roseman for him.

He's a really good GM, but his exit from KC was very strange. From reading the local reports, it sounds like he's not the easiest guy in the world to work for or work with. But if he can build a winning team, you might be able to get used to his style.

Allow me to take a second to defend Doug Pederson.

Oh, wait, I can't. I get the back-and-forth, but the players wanted to win that game and played like it.

Pederson had other ideas.

Pederson was just following orders from on high so it would be ironic if the people that gave those orders fired him. Everybody who follows the Eagles closely knows that wasn't his idea. Not defending him at all btw as he sacrificed his integrity in order to keep his job.
