Yeah I don’t see that being a problem. No different than missing practice for any number of reasons,it’s the coaches job to enforce the rules.I would say it's up to the coach to set team rules and enforce them. i.e. you can do this NIL stuff, but it better not conflict with what you are there to do.
Boosters wasted money for years under the tablePlayers are going to get paid.
This isn’t going to be as bad as people make it out to be.
Instead of getting nothing players can get whatever they can.
Boosters aren’t going to just waste money.
They will offer benefits no doubt but use common sense.
Most rich people don’t waste money. They know what they are doing.
Unless you’re the one making it.Well, at the end of the day, I disagree. I think this will end college sports. Not tomorrow. Money changes everything. And almost never, for the good.
Good point.Alabama, Clemson and a couple others are the only ones winning a championship anyway. Basketball is a little different as one player can really change things dramatically. There’s definitely a generational gap here. Seems like everyone over 50 thinks this is doomsday and anyone under doesn’t. College Sports already wasn’t exactly on a level playing field anyway. Just get it out there so the member schools can’t play favorites.
You would be surprised.Unless you’re the one making it.
I think this will end up being the problem. 2-3 guys in a team with a great deal. Everyone else having to watch them make money. It’ll be a new reason for the portal. “I can get a better money deal at college B so I’m going to transfer out of college AJBA's take on it...slightly edited.

Cameo will be easy money for these college athletes.I’m trying to convince my fantasy football league to start a fund to get Buddy to MC our draft
I’m the worlds worst about saying “I was just as happy when I had nothing” but in all reality money isn’t almost alway a bad thing. It damn sure will make people do some unbelievable low down stuff, but I think most of us like it when we can afford to do and have nice things. You would be surprised.
Then this changes nothing for them. Except they can get publicity for their money now.Boosters wasted money for years under the table
I guess it’s their money and if it makes them happy to sniff a few jocks then have at it.Then this changes nothing for them. Except they can get publicity for their money now.
Just ask them for an autograph and then you can give them money or something I am sure that will be allowed now.Does this mean if I'm at a road game, and I see players out at dinner a bar after, I can buy a round? (assuming they're of age of course)
It was a blast hanging out with the team in the casino at Atlantis that final night, but it was a little awkward trying to make sure nobody was breaking any rules, or in a position that could be conceived as breaking any rules
Think all of the full team photos/posters that get sold will have to result in each of the kids getting a portion of those sales, correct?

Can they play in the NBA in the offseason is the bigger question? Imagine the bird rule comes back and players are drafted and allowed to play in college and can join post march madness for the playoff run.Can they they play in TBT without losing eligibility?

I suspect this may be helpful to the NBA if they can just store the players in college while they mature, make some scratch, learn some skills, and then come when ready
