no symir is just mind boggling

You can’t have Symir and Frank on the floor at the same time. You’re playing 3 on 5 on offense. Teams don’t need to guard either one. All you have to do is hug our three scorers and if they drive you have two defensive players there to help. That’s basically what VT did today.

Buddy and Jimmy together strung together multiple possessions of live ball turnovers and bad shots. Symir may not be the outside threat but he moves well off the ball as well as on it. We were giving points and not executing with the alternative...

I agree but all it means is that there are different ways to lose. It is like shuffling the chairs on the Titanic. There are options but there are no good options. Play Symir = not enough O when Frank is also playing.
Playing Benny is like playing a deadman. Less hero ball would help as would less turnovers. We settle for difficult shots. This is a selfish team., or rather, there are some key players that do not know when to pass and when to shoot.

BS. There’s more to offense than being able to chuck a 25 footer, or go ISO.

Symir is the best ball handler and passer on the team, and Frank has good hands and is the best dunker around the basket we’ve had in years.

Maybe, we should stop coaching lazy offense.

Was hard to watch Joe and Buddy struggling to handle the ball late against the pressure. He could’ve left Joe and Buddy in and still inserted Symir to handle the freaking ball. Would’ve done wonders and freed up the shooters.

Buddy trying to handle the ball with his back to the basket and also shoot it’s just ridiculous

Jimmy did nothing other than the two treys he hit in the 1st half. He struggles against any team with quick athletes who play aggressive pressuring defense. No way should he have played 37 minutes tonight.

He’s not? Really?
As was pointed out earlier this week, other players across state lines are actually closer to SU than Glens falls

edit - I guess it’s more about what you define as local. For me, the Boeheim boys and Sy are the local kids. Just like triche and dc2 were before. Joe and other instate guys are just that- instate
