Not saying these teams didn't deserve some attention. But no love for us. Yet.

Likely so. We also need an attention-getter, a player with some sizzle on a national scale. We have some good candidates, but no one consistent and quality enough just yet to make someone in the media go, "Hey, look at this guy!".

lol...true true. I know they put up 50 points on two hapless teams but the voters must of missed the home field squeaker to McNeese State. A game they should have lost.

For all the Big 10 bashing, they have 4 teams ranked in the top 25 (the acc 2) ... but 2 of their 4 teams have a loss.

VT gets dumped for losing to ECU but there's OSU right smack dab in the middle even after losing to VT at home in front of 107K.

This is what I'm wondering. If we roll Maryland, is there a chance we get ranked? What if we win say...38-14. Would be great for the national exposure going into the ND game. Don't know if that will do it, but it would be sweet.

If we roll Maryland, how confidant will we be? I'd be comfortable going into the ND game after seeing Purdue make them look beatable this week. Golson is the only player on ND that scares me right now. He's a great dual-threat.

After the Maryland game, I'll be more comfortable making a prediction about those games. If we look good this week I'm not scared of Louisville; Notre Dame and Clemson I'm not sure about yet; as of now I still believe we have no chance against FSU although they are a different team this year. I'll be there to see Wake get rolled.

Right now, there are roughly 25 undefeated P5 teams. If we beat MD to stay in that group and some of the other ones go down next week, I could see some votes coming our way. Probably not enough to be ranked in the Top 25 yet, but I'd be fine with showing up in the Others Receiving Votes list.
