Official NC State - October 12th - Group Tickets, Tailgate Event

I had a voice-mail today asking how many parking passes I was interested in. Called back, to get his voice-mail. Will update when I hear something tomorrow.
I assume you haven't heard anything back from them yet?

Got my 2 tix today. Thanks for setting this up. I am still up for a parking pass if we can get them

I hope you all enjoy your stay in North Carolina. NC State's campus isn't the most beautiful college campus around (lots of brick), but Raleigh can be a fun place if you know where to go. While you are in the area I'd check out the other triangle schools (Duke and UNC) as well if you've never done so. Duke has a beautiful campus, and UNC is located in a quintessential college town with lots of good bars, restaurants, etc. Duke is about 20 miles from NC State while UNC is another 8 miles past Duke. For basketball fans I'd recommend visiting Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham and the Carolina basketball museum located adjacent to the Dean Smith Center in Chapel Hill.

Am getting no response for the parking passes. I've left two voice mails after the initial email.

Upstate food options in the Raleigh area people may like to visit. I lived there for a couple years and my brother is still there.

1) Skippers-Apex. The first review talks about Hoffmans.

2) Blinco's-North Raleigh.

Jim Blinco is an upstate new yorker and you can get garbage plates, beef on weck's here etc.

3) Roma's in cary: http://www.yelp.com/biz/romas-italian-cary
Binghamton owned. You can get spedies, half-moons, etc here.

Yeah, I may not be going due to lack of parking info. Thanks WolfPack!

If parking is your worry, there's plenty of parking options available. We are just trying to get passes for a lot for a tailgating. There are a lot of free parking options available. I usually park for free by the water tower, and it's about a half mile walk to the stadium.

Oh, well that's much different. I'm back on board!

I can't wait to go down there and roll these guys! Plus a weekend to check out the city.

Are you still taking orders for the original ticket list? I'll call SU and see if they've got tickets left in their section if not, but I'm now in for 2 tickets after selling my tickets for the Clemson game.

Just to let everyone know Blinco's recently closed.

Still no official tailgate option it appears.

I know it is getting late in the game, but I was told yesterday that I will know about available parking passes next week. If we cannot get passes, I will still have a tailgate in the usual location I tailgate in, and will invite everyone, but parking is limited, so we will come to that bridge if we have to cross that.

I will tell you this, the reason why NC State did not give group tickets is because of this:

NC State vs. Syracuse is Faculty/Staff appreciation day at state. Every faculty or staff member who wants tickets can get two free tickets, and then two more for $10 bucks a piece. Don't ask how I know, just say a little birdie told me. Just know, the game is going to be packed. State has a lot of employees. I'm still holding out hope that we can get parking passes. I'm using a new connection I just met to try and make this happen.

Thanks for being patient everyone.

Just ordered two tickets through SUAthletics. Looking forward to my first trip to Carter-Finley and hopefully meeting some of you guys for a tailgate!

Where are you sitting?
Wherever the SU section is. They're GA for now and will be assigned soon. I'll know when they come in the mail. There are still tickets available through SU, and at $65 they're cheaper than the current StubHub rates.

My resourceful wife found tickets at a local site from a season ticket holder who can't attend.

I'm pretty sure I'll be in the same section, and from the looks of it, they'll be pretty good seats.

Just got mine today as well! Apparently, you guys are a little more high class then me b/c I get to sit in Row P and will have to yell over all of you! Row P - seats 24 and 25.

My girlfriend and I are pumped for this game and getting the opportunity to meet people while tailgating! Not sure how awake I will be (due to work, I get to take a redeye from Arizona at 11 at night to get in Raleigh at 10:15 that Saturday, so the girlfriend gets to pick me up and then we will head to the stadium and start drinking!) but will make the most of it!
