OT: Best job ever!

Camp counselor. Always got the great review as I loved to run around with the kids constantly, never left my post, etc.
My senior counselor loved this too as he could chill, talk to girls while I constantly played in the field with the entire group.

Man, did I have energy back then. :D

CuseTroop started a thread like this many months ago. Reposting from that.

As for the actual work itself, I loved my time as an editor and producer at WWE.com. I wrote website content that was viewed by millions of unique visitors every month and produced an online talk show that allowed fans to interact with the wrestlers. I was able to submit storyline ideas freely and quite a few of them made it to TV, which was an incredible high. The highlight of the job was traveling once a month to PPVs, Raw and SmackDown! to do interviews and whatnot backstage. I was once an uncredited extra in a scene with Dawn Marie and Torrie Wilson on SmackDown! Also served as a talent escort for autograph signings, which led to having dinner with Stacy Keibler in Rochester. My boss, Shane McMahon, introduced me to Brazilian jiu-jitsu and MMA by basically taking me into the gym inside Titan Tower and kicking the living out of me 3-4 times a week. Still, I enjoyed it and loved my time in the rasslin' business.

Although I didn't enjoy the actual work, I enjoyed that my teaching job allowed me to live in Yemen for a year. That was an unforgettable experience that far surpassed my expectations.

I'm not sure I'd call it a "job" so much as a side gig, but the most enjoyable thing I've ever been paid to do is write freelance comedy articles. I'm still hoping to someday transition to writing full time, but who knows if that'll ever be in the cards.

Well we had your worst job ever. What was your best Job ever? I was a judge of a wet Tshirt contest like 10 years ago! ;)

My favorite job was when I was in the Marine Corps. But the best job, similar to yours was when I was in the Marines I was hired by a local bar to provide security during a strip show for women. It was a hilarious experience, and the way women are a thee shows are a total trip!

Hmmmm...good question here...all of my jobs in the AF were good, some better than others, but never really had a bad job...will have to think which one was the best...

I used to work at the movie theater at Carousel Mall, and just loved it.

I think I may have asked this before, but what years? Because between 1999 and 2003 I spent many an afternoon over there watching movies instead of, you know, going to class. Like when I saw Fellowship of the Ring 17 times.

We probably crossed paths in 1999 and 2000, and seasonally thereafter.

I worked for a Canadian company that sent American actors to different US-Canada border stops throughout Canada. The company worked for the Canadian government to make sure the Customs department was properly doing their job. Each of us had a specific character that we had to portray. Mine was hitch hiking across the border after recently breaking up with my girlfriend. I had no photo id and had dealt with some mental health issues in the past for which I was not taking meds anymore. I was maybe going to Montreal or Toronto to catch a hockey game and hang out. Obviously I should have been denied for multiple reasons at every stop. I was, except for at the Rainbow Bridge by Niagara Falls. The guy interrogating me at the Toronto airport was pissed. he kept me locked in a room for hours and when I presented him with my "the jig is up" letter, didn't believe any of the actual contact info. It was a very cool gig. My territory was between Ottawa and Winnipeg. I wish I had the Maritime provinces or out west. Still, it was a great experience!

I used to loop at a country club while in high school. I usually carried the bag for a judge and a young wealth yuppie who hated each other. Had some of the craziest colleagues, greenskeeper naked Carl, crazy mfer. The judge had a hot niece I constantly tried to bone. Those were some good times, until we were replaced by carts.

Pftt.. all of my jobs have been uneventful and boring. Nothing I'd consider good.
