That is a beginning - it is the first thing they have won in a while.
Did you already forget about the illustrious 9-7 season that just ended?

Schwartz runs a 4-3 and Rex a 3-4. When Mike Tomlin took over as HC of the Steelers he was wise enough to leave Dick LeBeau alone even though he ran a different D. Maybe Rex will do the same thing.
Seems to me the more important thing is the OC and the QB. I can't see spending $1.4 billion and then betting it on EJ Manuel.
In 2015 the salary cap is expected to grow to by about $15 million. That would leave Buffalo with about $36 million to spend. If they don't get a seasoned QB they are nuts. I imagine that was a big topic of discussion with Rex.
I doubt schwarz stays as rex and thurmond are a package

Yes, not hating a guy makes you a member of their fan club on this board. Forgive me if I don't get excited about 46-50 and ruining Mark Sanchez. Where's Millhouse on this move? At least the Bills beat writers will be happy with this move.Just a matter of time until the MFC polluted yet another thread, I guess.
Rex wants to run the ball a lot, so he could work well with Roman. No way Schwarz stays in Buffalo and good for Marrone if he doesn't get the Jets job.
He clearly doesn't deal well with the media and I think he would struggle in that market with that team. I like the guy and want him to be successful and quite frankly I don't think it's a good situation for him.
That is fine. I am sure I have plenty of opinions you don't share. I am a Pats fan and actually want Buffalo to get better as their fanbase deserves it. Rex Ryan is a good Defensive coach but Buffalo was already fine there. Pegula went for the splash hire but Rex Ryan after Mangini's players left the Jets did nothing these last 4 years. He beat NE in 2010 and since then has done nothing.Well, that is one opinion - and one I don't share.

He must think it's a good situation - why else would be have bothered interviewing?
He probably thinks he can win there. Maybe I'm wrong, but my opinion is that Doug and the Jets isn't a good match at this time.

The #Bills have "every intention" of keeping DC Jim Schwartz, just told by high-ranking team source.
Vic Carucci is reporting that the Bills have "every intention" of retaining Schwartz as DC.
The Bills might have that intention, but is Rex going to let him run the defense, and if not is Schwartz willing to stay when other teams want a DC?
Other teams can want Schwartz all they want. The Bills can just say no like they did to the Redskins. The Bills might have that intention, but is Rex going to let him run the defense, and if not is Schwartz willing to stay when other teams want a DC?
What weapons?Scooch said:Win or lose, at least you'll be entertained. It's not the worst bet, and I don't think Sexy Rexy is a bad coach. I just think he's become a bit overrated because people like him and prefer to blame the Jets comically bad front office. That being said, he did have some weapons in NY, he just oversaw a terribly vanilla offense and dreadful QB play. Maybe the Bills can load up so much talent on O, get a top-tier QB, and convince Rex to keep his mitts off, that he can't poison it like he did in NY. It's really all about finding a QB for you guys.
Ruining, nice. Marrone didn't ruin ej though, I'm sureStatesman1 said:Yes, not hating a guy makes you a member of their fan club on this board.
