One time I called my youngest by my middle child’s name. Where do I turn in my Mom card?

I'm not sure at what age this becomes a thing but it doesn't get better with age. My cousin called my son by my nephew's name this past weekend and my sweet 90 year old grandmother just rolodex's through names from oldest til youngest til she gets to the right one. I've been Cra-Jo-Jes-Matthew for decades but she's recently taken to asking me if I know so and so and it's people that are a generation above me that knew my mom, aunt or uncles from high school. "No I don't really recall them" or "I think remember the name" are my go to's.

Regardless, I'm excited for SU star QB Don-Ry-Eri-Garrett and Heisman hopeful RB Ji-Ern-Flo-Sean.

How difficult is it to get it correct. The little things. Seems like a disconnect
Maybe next time explain what you're posting about so the rest of us can follow along?

Since, ya know, this is a message board.

Keep your mom card, you just wanted to see what it was like being a dad. It only happened once.

We dad's confuse our kids all the time, miraculously, our kids forgive us.

I imagine if Dino keeps winning, Orange fans will likely forgive Dino if he mistakenly identifies fan groups.*

*Any confusion with Rutgers fans may be unpardonable.

My Grandfather solved this problem by calling any of us by, "Sel (my uncle Selyf), pause...Gary (my brother) pause ...Wayne." Covered all the bases in chronological order! Miss him.
