If both us and Miami win out, I think there is a legitimate possibility that we get Gameday.

We have three games (at BC, at Cal, UConn). BC and Cal are probably close to coin flips, and UConn is a likely win. Miami has two games (at Ga Tech which could be a landmine game and then at home vs. Wake).

On November 29th, Ohio State/Michigan is likely out of the picture since Michigan will probably be 5-5 after this weekend. The game that we would be competing with is Texas @ Texas A&M and possibly Kansas State vs. Iowa State. Unfortunately, A&M has two easy games between now and then vs. NM St. and Auburn.

If we and Miami win out, I'm hoping that our friends at ESPN could throw us a bone and recognize that we have never hosted Gameday, and that A&M already hosted once this year. Hopefully the prestige and TV appeal of Miami's resurgence could work to our advantage. Maybe The Rock gets involved and wants to show up, etc.

They have to take Texas vs A&M. Btw wasn’t that usually a Friday game?

South Carolina vs Clemson could be in play if both win out.

Same for Vandy vs Tennessee (less likely).

Doubt we have a shot.

There's so much competition that week, no way we're getting it even if we win the next three.

Yes, Texas vs Texas A&M was one of my favorite Friday morning after Thanksgiving traditions. Game would start at 11 am ET, 10 am local time.

Hard to imagine gameday skips the rivalry reboot, unless Texas A&M really keeps falling apart after that South Carolina fiasco. They play at Auburn, who isn't very good.

Vandy plays South Carolina this weekend, so one of them is out as plan B. If Vandy wins, they have a tough road beyond that with a trip to LSU. Will also be curious to see how Clemson bounces back.

I also don't see Miami getting higher than 4. Oregon's schedule is easy. If Georgia loses to Tennessee, the Vols probably leapfrog Miami. If Ohio State loses to Indiana, the Hoosiers probably leapfrog Miami.

I would rather see Miami loses to GA Tech. Then we have tie break advantage against Miami.

My body literally can't handle spending the next month thinking we've got a shot at Game Day
Well my right knee just gave out and I can't bend it or straighten it without significant pain, so I think you jinxed me. I think someone things I'm a pincushion for a Love voodoo doll and got me and him confused.

I don't think that will happen. They would rather SEC double team it than the ACC, and besides the CW loves Syracuse now. :)

Every time the board starts talking about Gameday the team goes out and poops all over itself - every - single - time.

Please just stop.

They’re not going to win out. They’ll hopefully win most and have a great season.

But everyone - for the love of god - stop with the ’n Gameday nonsense.
