Pretty sure the current rule is exhibition games against other college programs are OK as long as no admission is charged, or admission is charged, and the proceeds go to charity.

Dusty Dvorcek was talking about this early today on the Dusty and Danny Show. He had been in Houston as a host or emcee or whatever it was when Fran was honored with the Bear Bryant Award for first year coach of the year. Dusty was raving about Fran, saying what an amazing guy he is and what a great speech he gave, it was the first time meeting him in person, after interviewing him on the radio show before. Anyway, lots of press for Fran and the program from this whole thing
