Postgame Thoughts… Georgetown

We all know why. JB only plays guys he trusts in the second half, and trust isn’t earned in the first half. Usually we have at least a couple guys on the bench that he trusts, but this year there isn’t anyone.

Such a joke. The bench carried the team in the first half or at least played a large part in why we had a lead and had energy. The guys who he trusts in the second half are doing nothing but losing games. And why on earth does Swider have his trust? Swider hasn’t done jack and didn’t do jack at the school he came from. Just blow it all up

and you don't add anything to spice it up or change the flavor do you? Except maybe putting on the veggies like one at a time

Absolutely. I have been eating my subs this way for over 20 years.

First half was fun. Bench was really productive and was great to see.

Second half, some of the worst coaching I’ve seen in a bit.

Awful loss.

That 1-3-1 zone is fun huh?

Lol, that’s not normally his style. I think he was fired up and drunk. Been there!
oh, I noticed it in a few threads, on different days.

That kind of language/name calling gets critics of Boeheim banned/suspended.

Hard fought game, they made shots. There isn't much you can do when that happens.

Great rivalry though, and Georgetown is much better than they look. Mutombo, Rice hitting those threes early, and that Mohammed kid were outstanding. That's a ton of talent - this was a statement non-conference win for them so they really came out with their best game of the season by far. They were on a mission - and it's hard to stop a mission.

At the end of the day we just gotta practice and improve. We run some really good ISO, and the D is looking good - passing in the interior was a bit easy for them, but they can pass the ball.

Not much we could do - just one of those days. LGO!!!
I totally agree with your last comment "just one of those days" but it seems like every team comes up with a big game against us on one of those days. Much more than that at this point. We are too slow and put way, way too much time with Buddy and Cole on the floor when they are not contributing. When they score a basket here and there but give up basket after basket, that is how we end up blowing games. Just think we will get to see this same script for 21 more games this year! Whopeeee!

Anytime you have Villanova’s 8th man and a Cornell guy, you’ve GOT to ride them!!!

Ain’t no way Mohammed should be at GT he’s nice. Rice… scored 34 or whatever last game. Yet we let him shoot. Kid that shoots under 30% he catches fire… my brain hurts. Make it make sense.

Bacon would go good with those. I’d go with sweet ham otherwise if you didn’t want bacon on it

Interesting call. I just don't know if that would work. I find the meat is often poorly spaced on my sandwich. I would prefer not to chance it.

Ride the core veggies.

Hey, Bruce Pearl aint doing anything for a couple games. Maybe he'd be open to come on as a consultant
What is he going to consult about? Consistency in getting caught breaking rules?

Syracuse’s natural state is the bubble. It should really be called the Boebble.

Just think of all the huge upset victories later in the season that are necessary for Boebble status. I am thinking one against Duke is guaranteed, and possibly a second in the ACCT.

That’s how I like to look at it.

I’m a really basic guy myself, lettuce and tomato with either Turkey or sweet ham. Also oil and vinegar on it too. Tastes amazing

Question? Do you slice the sub equally in half or does one side usually have more on it and taste better?

Buddy and cole have been shooting 30% all year and we shot 44% today, and can't get a run going in the second half. It's illogical.
