Watched first half from Dallas airport. Dumb plane didn’t have wifi during the flight out to California and just landed and turned on my phone to tons of texts and immediately checked the box score.

I’d say we were outplayed for the most part, but still found a way to win. Discipline is a part of being good and from what I saw Purdue absolutely doesn’t have it

The fact they were only up 9-3 at the half is crazy. It felt like they scored at will early on.

There was no need. You have a guaranteed touch back leaving them 7 seconds and no time outs. You play deep prevent with the ball on the 25.

There’s a >0% probability that something can go wrong on a squib.

If they had a top kicker, they could have completed a 30 yard pass maybe and got OOB with a second left...but you're not wrong here.

1st and 10 at PUR35	PENALTY PUR UNS: Unsportsmanlike Conduct 15 yards from PUR35 to PUR20. NO PLAY.
1st and 10 at PUR20	PENALTY PUR UNS: Unsportsmanlike Conduct 10 yards from PUR20 to PUR10. NO PLAY.

Unsportsmanlike on Purdue, 15 yards enforced on the kickoff.

Plus another unsportsmanlike 1/2 the distance

Purdue kicked off from the 10, Jackson returned to the 50.

My favorite part is the bias of fanbases in general. Consensus on this forum is the commentators were blatantly pro Purdue and on the Purdue forum they think the commentators were kneeling at the Syracuse alter.
