DJ is SO BACKFlorida state seems out of the running due to other developments with another QB it seems.
Thomas castellanos from Boston college has a crystal ball to Florida stateDJ is SO BACK
Like i said, DJ is BACKThomas castellanos from Boston college has a crystal ball to Florida state
Yeah, Castellanos is like DJU Jr. I love Norvell's talent evaluation.Like i said, DJ is BACK
Both couldnt keep a starting job, both cant throw, both struggle to read a defense. Its like a match made in heaven. To make a move like that this early in the portal is amazing. It's like FSU is trying to loseYeah, Castellanos is like DJU Jr. I love Norvell's talent evaluation.
Yep, Castellanos does the same bad crap as DJ, he's just smaller...maybe a touch faster. Both couldnt keep a starting job, both cant throw, both struggle to read a defense. Its like a match made in heaven. To make a move like that this early in the portal is amazing. It's like FSU is trying to lose
His statement about jakari during bowl press didn’t sound like he was ready to hand him the keysNobody has any idea how Jakhari is. The fact that Fran is hitting the portal hard for a QB tells you something, especially with Johnson coming back . I'm all for stacking your roster with 5 or 6 QB's and let things sort themselves out, but I think if Jakhari was a sure thing we wouldn't be going so hard for a portal QB. I like Saltar, but I do admit it was nice having a pure PP in Kyle. The thing is Kyle is a unicorn. Talents like that don't grow on trees. Saltar showed in 2023 that he could put up numbers if healthy, with the right talent, and OC. I would make a large wager that next years starting QB is not on the roster yet.
Roughly the Genesis ofSome of us watched a few spring practices that year and weren’t convinced McNabb was going to be the guy.
If fran thought it was a risk he wouldnt go for him. At the end of the day you bring in the best player you can. Salter would only be here for 12 months, if you cant keep a player in line for 12 months then you have bigger problems
Maybe it’s just me but if you bring in a QB to lead your team and be the face of your program, I would prefer that he doesn’t have any run-ins with police that lead to his dismissal. I know we all deserve second chances but I just think this program is too fragile at this point to risk bringing in a player with a checkered past to lead your program.
...bring in the best player that’s also a fit for the program…If fran thought it was a risk he wouldnt go for him. At the end of the day you bring in the best player you can. Salter would only be here for 12 months, if you cant keep a player in line for 12 months then you have bigger problems
I think he ends up somewhere.I think he ends up elsewhere
If fran is offering him, he IS a fit for the program... Hes running the damn program...bring in the best player that’s also a fit for the program…
Yeah it’s obvious Fran is running the program, but your statement “At the end of the day you bring in the best player you can.” seems implies talent is more important than fit. Sounds like that wasn’t your intention. If fran is offering him, he IS a fit for the program... Hes running the damn program
