Is it weird that he and Colandrea are visiting on the same day? Seems like it would be a little awkward that you weren't the only QB being hosted
Think how good he must be if he can beat him out?Would he want to compete with McCord.
HELL YEAHI pulled this last week when I had two mold removal guys over at the same time. Alpha.
No clue what our pecking order is for these qb’s or how many other teams Salter is interested in but if it was only us and Colorado and we were pushing for him I’d like our chances based solely on existing qb room.Keep him away from Coach Prime, which is supposed to be where he is visiting next week. Fran can go toe to toe with anyone but would prefer we lock him up now of course

Colorado flipped the stud qb from USC (JuJu) right before signing day with one of the most appealing aspects about Colorado being that he could immediately step in as a true frosh post Shedeur. Sure that’s easier said than done and why Colorado is trying to hedge and bring in an experienced guy to help with the transition but from Salter’s perspective it shouldn’t be as appealing if look at the whole picture. Yes there are big benefits in spotlight of playing for Prime and maybe putting up big numbers but he’ll constantly be looking over his shoulder at juju and fan base will be all in on juju the first time Salter struggles.
I see it as similar situation to McCord looking at Nebraska after Raiola committed and then choosing to look elsewhere.
“Salter City” immediately sells $$$ NIL merchandise.Salter the Salt City
Agreed. I was an All-State QB from Morristown NJ - played four years ran for 15 passed for 20 TDS my senior year. Learned all the mechanics developed into a decent QB was recruited by 7 major schools but they didn't have the major I wanted so I walked onto SU and could throw the ball as well as the scholie QB's - they eventually gave me a scholie I was fast 9.7 100 YD dash. First play they put me at receiver vs an AA DB from OHIO - burned him on a go route for a TD and the coach went crazy.Happened his freshman year at Tennessee. Anyone heard anything since regarding him at Liberty? Kids do dumb things as 17 and 18 yrs old. He’s now 22. No reason to hold the kid for something that happened 4 yrs ago with nothing in between.
This fan base gets one glimmer of something that one kid did back in the day and immediately writes him off. Just sad tbh.

This, of course, was before Falwell's wife, um, straightened him up, and made a man out of him.Happened his freshman year at Tennessee. Anyone heard anything since regarding him at Liberty? tons of recruits today at the game. Section 102 was packedSalter and Fran catching the game together now as we speak
Hopefully they left before the last 4 minutes. It was a disaster!Salter and Fran catching the game together now as we speak
Who wudda thought we’d see the day where we’re embarrassed that football recruits were in the dome to witness a SU-Gtown game?
Ah c’mon.
It was a competitive, mostly entertaining game up until the last minute or 2.
Yeah, we looked like azz, couldn’t buy a rebound to save our lives, and couldn’t get a stop in the last five minutes.
It wasn’t like we got blown out or weren’t at all competitive.
And, we’re missing by far our best player currently.
We’re not. All of these kids are competitors and they’ve all lost games like this in their careers that they should have won. It happens. This wasn’t USF in the bowl game last year.Who wudda thought we’d see the day where we’re embarrassed that football recruits were in the dome to witness a SU-Gtown game?
I was there and it was great. Bottom was full up. Top 50 percent. And 2h it was definitely fun and loudAlright I will grant you that. What was the environment like at the dome? Crowd size?
