Yeah, he definitely has a little Dungey in his game.
He's a capable scrambler & runner, but with a quality arm to boot.

Kid throws darts, but also saw him take a little off at times when a WR was very open, making for a more catchable ball.

Threw a lot of passes into tight windows w/ success.

He's already got solid size & strength as a JR.
LOTS to like here.

I'm voting for "Cool Hand" over "Chili Con" as his nickname.

What’s crazy is the “smaller texas school” has clearly better overall athletes on the field then local AA HS teams. Shows the depth of HS football there.

Class of 2025 Mesquite (TX) Dallas Christian signal caller Luke Carney has committed to Syracuse following an unofficial visit over the weekend. He picked the Orange over offers from Arizona, Arkansas, Boston College, BYU, California, Georgia Tech, Louisville, San Diego State, South Florida and several others.

During his junior season, he threw for 3,723 yards on 80.2% completion with 47 touchdowns and just six interceptions. He also ran for 843 yards.
