Another one of my favorites. i think Josh (his real name) is still around. I think folks like Raoul Duke and Max Fischer have left because of the general quality of the board. Nothing to do with the admins and how they administer it. RD being deleted today was a flukey mistake. New admin with no sense of history.

I remember meeting that crew (Max, Kaiser, Stevensen and others...I think maybe you too?) the night of the Detroit/Indiana brawl. Su played Memphis (post-Melo) and we all watched at the Blarney that night (me, GothamCuse and md_cuse)

Maybe when the admins convene for their annual meeting they can bring up the recreating of the payside under new business. Or would that be considered old business. RDuke would never get that treatment on the payside.

But I remember coming back to Blarney and some girl from Oklahoma sitting at the bar would show us her tits if we sang some OU fight song.

Was that the same night some of us went to that strip club on Broadway (I know Raoule and UEO were there) after the game? last time I was in a strip club.

I remember watching the highlights with everyone after the brawl had happened. We had come over from the Garden and were there late I think (post midnight had to be) all watching sportscenter.

Perspective is a wonderful thing. Yes, some of us remember life without cable and the internet. But the media were much more responsible then because ... guess what... there were editors.. and things were not printed without fact-checking. Now anyone can promulgate anything ... under the rubric of "news." As a former prize=winning journalist, I find it very sad.
