RB Jawhar Jordan in the transfer portal

Nobody here cares about speed

Except when it’s a 2 star HS recruit with no other D1 offers and then the staff has found a diamond in the rough that’s going to light things up.

But as far as Jordan, we couldn’t use him at all next year. You saw all the recruits coming in right. We won a game last year. Things are handled with our current group.

what should they have done to keep him, you geniuses are full of complaints, what would you have done?

So who in this thread knows the actual reasons why he wants to transfer? So far I am seeing its Dinos fault, Lynches fault, Gilberts fault, the olines fault and Tuckers fault. Oh and while it hasnt been stated yet, someone will blame Gerry McNamera also. Anyone else to blame? Seems like lots of people guessing unless I missed something.

Lynch knew what he had, so he put him there. Gilbert had no idea, because he had no spring. I pray that's not the case of pounding a square block into a round hole.

Jordan has exceptional value. I expect there is a staff that will capitalize on it. Jordan was the FASTEST man west of the Mississippi in 2018.

I will not minimalize this loss.
I don't get the lack of Spring practice being a reason to not have an idea on your players. Just pop in the tape or ask the rest of the staff. If you and I know it, he should be able to figure it out.

His first season, they got him in space, and he did cool things.

His second season, they ran him as an undersized guy straight up the back of a terrible offensive line, and he did not do cool things.

The hypothesis is that he could do more cool things if he was given the ball with just a little room, instead of surrounded by fat guys and directed to run directly into the tail pads of said fat guys.
Because a highly paid coaching staff doesn’t know how to use its players. That’s the part that I laugh at. If only our coaches knew as much as our board members!

Do you get triggered this easily in real life too? If anyone mentions anything that might be a knock against a staff that won 1 game last year you lose your _____.

Maybe start with reading comprehension instead of anger. I never mentioned the staff or that they did anything wrong.

bitching and moaning is easy, it takes no intelligence and zero effort

I think he wants to be a three-down between the tackles RB and the staff doesn't think that is the best role for him. I wish he stayed but I understand you gotta search out what you think is best.

Or the staff did leave him there, but he knows it's not going to be easy to unseat the younger guy. The one who looked more natural at the spot and did a better job making chicken salad out of chicken sh**.

There's no good solution to this one if your premise is correct. Even though the experts here think there was one.

Changing our opinions is a guaranteed right on a fan board. In fact, it’s almost a requirement.

I don’t know why people still want to beat the subject to death. We get it. Losing even a potentially effective contributor is bad. If people want to make this all about the failures of the coaching staff, fine. We got it. If others want to make it about the player not realizing his deficiencies, or opportunities, whatever. That’s fine too. It’s all been said.
Time remains for the staff to make adjustments. We will see what we see when we see it. In the meantime, hasn’t this horse been beaten enough?

I think Tucker is a stud. I wish Jordan stayed to find a proper role but I'm certainly not as sky is falling as others.

Again, instead of overreacting try to read what some people write instead of assuming it’s an attack on the staff. I don’t know if you mowing HCDB’s lawn and shoveling his driveway but getting bent out of shape all the time is silly after a 1 win season. But I know, Covid.
