With the extra year allowed, the scholarships became a problem, and he was not going anyplace without a guaranteed scholarship. One of several programs came through about a week ago, and he chose the first one up.

It may not be an option for him. You better be pretty sure you have a landing spot before you put your name in the portal. For his sake, I hope post 508 is correct.

Think JJ will have a spot. However I think a lot of players that entered the portal may have really hurt themselves long term.

When looking at the portal there are so many rb, wr, qbs that not all are going to find landing spots unfortunately. All three of su rbs that entered the portal have not indicated where they are transferring. In fact out of all the su players that entered the portal only 3 have indicated transfer locations. NJ, c. Dawson and Hackett. Both NJ and Hacket went to Kent state and Dawson went closer to home.
