Class of 2019 RB Jawhar Jordan Jr. (AZ) SIGNED NLI TO SYRACUSE 12/19/18

All this talk of not being able to take 3-4 RBs is old school thinking. Clemson rotated 4 RB all year and both Georgia and Alabama had 3 different RBs in the title game. It's no longer give your guy the ball 25-30 times a game. We are seriously hurting at RB talent and depth. I saw take all 4 if they want to come here.

Jordan is not just pure speed. Violent change of direction. He truly cuts on a dime.

I’ve covered Jawhar Jordan extensively since he signed and I don’t have any idea where he is this week end. Hopefully, like SUfaninAZ says, he’s on campus today and this weekend. Previously there was some discussion about his academics. Legacy said if it’s his ACT score he won’t be able to take it again until Saturday, Feb.10. If he does well he can sign immediately. There’s usually a way we can work with him even if he doesn’t do that well if his grades are good. If his grades are low and he doesn’t do well on the ACT, he’ll have to study until he gets them where they're supposed to be. Then there’s the prep school route. “1000 per cent committed to SU.” If he is, we do not have worries especially if we are and have been involved helping him with everything. He is a very special talent. You do not give up on the 4th fastest recruit in the country this cycle with moves that are way out there leaving broken ankles and jock straps in his wake. We‘re going to find out what route he has to take or is taking very soon IMHO.

If any have NFL aspirations I'd think they'd want a playing time side kick so they don't have 4 years of full time wear and tear.

The other 3 rbs have a public tweet for their visit.

In the last 3 weeks, jj followed Nebraska and UCLA. He did retweet his Cuse commit... fingers crossed.

But can you trust folks that went to Hamilton. ;)

My ex is Hamilton alum...

I like the joke even though I don't know what it is. ;)

My sister is a Kirkland College alum, which was the coed part of Hamilton before they merged into one school.
I love the joke, and don't care what it is! ;)

If no one else is moving in on JJ, especially Nebraska, then I fear his grades aren’t even close. Here’s to hoping he ends up here though.

Look for Mich. St to get in play if his grades are marginal or failing.

Do we not take minimum qualifiers?

If his grades are so bad he's not even visiting, I'm guessing JUCO is the most likely outcome.

Seeing people that tend to be in the know indicate he isn't going to make it here is disappointing. I've been really excited about this guy and his 10.6 speed. I've been hoping to see him get a shot at returning kicks.

I was excited for him also. We have some really good recruits, but our commitments and misses are killing me. I know it's not Dino's fault, just wanted these guys and if he was that far away from graduating why go after him. Sampson, still don't know what happened there but if we backed away it had to be serious. Just wanted these two talent wise.

These kids are usually offered well before their Senior year usually based solely on hudl video or camp visits. School evaluations, which is an academic evaluation of the recruits grades can't occur until their senior year. That makes it difficult to determine if a kid will or will not qualify.

No chance of him even being a minimum qualifier

Ugh.

So, in light of that -- is prep school an option, to increase his test score?

Or is he down lots and lots of core classes, leaving JUCO as the only option?

Man... These kids bust their humps all week, for years, to play college fb. Too many forget the college part. I'll hold out hope, it's a test grade, or he's just missing a class, that he can take care of. Seems like a real determined kid. Hoping he gets to sign late... fingers still crossed.

His is the only film, that literally had me laughing, at what he could do.
