You recruit one QB a year. Full stop. If you can take a solid developmental guy as a PWO, you do it. But you reserve one scholarship per class for a QB. Ideal roster balance should be 4 QBs, 1 each frosh through senior. This is exactly what we've done. Amie transferring out and the class overlap between Rex and Clayton have skewed the roster. As long as we bring one in each class, we'll be fine. Obviously, if we can grab Fortin we should. But one scholarship QB each of the next two classes puts us right back on track.
How do teams like Michigan have 7 QBs on roster?
