Like "certifiable" crazy. I don't have a clue how these numbers are going to work.
 
Is it just me, or is this one of the most exciting recruiting seasons in...I can't remember when? The current commits, the current top targets/visitors, and the flurry of late offers? Why all the d-backs, o-linemen, possible flips to running backs? To echo the sentiments of several recruits, this coaching staff is the best! i grew up in the high school era of 1987 and success of the 90's, and see history repeating again. I love it!

it's much more exciting then last year since we were in all out scramble mode and had to settle for a lot of major back up plans, and even picked up a handful of guys off the scrap heap post NSD. I much prefer this excitement.

This says it all. One thing we know for sure... This will be our 2 most exciting weeks of SU recruiting in years. Closing out strong...

We've never been in on so many legit, legit kids in one year. Pretty impressive how much hype this staff is generating in SoFL and ChiTown. They're pumped.

Rocco, when GM says BOOM that usually means a commit coming, do you know of any kid that may commit in the very shortterm? (today, tomorrow)
 
Who said Boom – McDonald or White? If it’s White who said it, it could be anyone. From Ishmael, to Cordy to Ward, to Watson. I assume it’s as a result of an in-home that occurred yesterday.

At this stage I doubt we’re going to be surprised by any names signing we haven’t heard before – unless that surprise is a Blister. Highly unlikely we land an unknown AList kid without having heard about some sort of interest. No kid is going to sign that has not visited. However, we do have kids visit that go unreported. Always been that way but unlikely a kid committed elsewhere has visited Syracuse without it making the rounds. Just wouldn’t set yourself up for some ‘wow’ type signing day surprise. That would be Watson or Wilbon. Nobody else like that is entering the picture at the present.

The known AList kids we’re scratching and clawing for right now (imho) are Ward, Watson, Wilbon and Rodney; should we add Ishmael here - idk. Maybe Cordy/Washington/Thomas. Would we love to get Thomas – yes – but he’s probably not going to qualify so I don’t get real excited about that.

I think if we get two of the first four you listed (Ward and Rodney seem most likely), we can consider this class a smashing success. Even without them it's a very good one. If by chance we can somehow get 3 of 4, home run. 4 out of 4 seems very unlikely.

Of the last three you mention, I think we end up with one, maybe two of them. Which would seem to put us near capacity.

Ishmael is more likely than any of the 4. Rodney is by no means a sure thing, probably the hardest of the 4 to land.

Meant the first four listed in last paragraph. Wasn't counting Ishmael - as according to many here it would be shocking if he didn't pick SU.
