Roster

While I like Judah and his ability to Drive and score and now his 3 pt shooting is coming around, his distribution skills need some work. There are no “set” plays to get anyone else other than Jesse and Joe the ball in scoring position.

Those players who shoot the ball the majority of the time will be the players that score the most. Players like Justin, Chris, Benny and Maliq do not get the ball enough to get a rhythm going. Benny was more aggressive on offense yesterday because he was looking to shoot and score late in the game.

I was impressed how Clemson moved the ball and multiple plsyers were involved in their scoring.

I feel that Boeheim wants the zone to work that he is willing to let an opponent get ridiculously hot before he will make a change. This has been a theme this season by allowing the opponents start out with a 10-12 point lead.

He’s really slow. I think he needs to just stay out side an launch threes. He’s got this big build but it sure doesn’t seem like he’s very strong.
Right, he looks big but not explosive in terms of basketball strength

I really don't care about the roster at this point. Get the best coach possible this offseason and they will be able to keep the players they want and get the best players available.

I agree Sean Miller will be able to get the players he wants in here fast. :)

I gotta ask...who exactly are you talking about? The Bearcats may be in a worse position than SU.
Curious why you say that?

From the outside - they were .500 2 years ago and now are 19-10? Seem to be making steady progress?

Judah's gone...he showed last night he can actually make a 3 pt shot.
Jesse is gone...Europe is calling.

I hope Torrence comes back with a NEW COACHING STAFF
that can navigate the portal.

Everyone is assuming Judah will either go pro or come back. I could definitely see him transferring to a top 25 school with a better roster around him plus potentially a bigger NIL deal
This has been my thought for a while now, although the draft seems more possible than it did a month or so ago.

5 of the top 6 scorers for UC are seniors (4-5th YR). UC's biggest problem is their top players are so experienced that their most talented player can't get on the court (Daniel Skillings). 4 of those seniors are guards. The only freshmen that see the court are 2 guards (6'6" and 6'7"). They have no point guard on the roster for next year but they do have Edgerrin James Jr (Jizzle) coming in next year along with another 4 star 2 guard. So no forwards in sight. A decent Euro center in Lahkin and 4 guards with little to no experience look to be the starting lineup right now for UC.
The big difference between UC and SU is I can unequivocally state that Wes Miller will bring in 4 or more players from the portal and SU will not. I'd about guarantee a veteran PG and 3 forwards will still become Bearcats next year.
