Doug did a great job. Saved the program. Babers has a great approach and attitude to compete for ACC titles In two years the program is so fundamental better than where Shafer left it its ridiculous.

Just because Babers hasn’t gotten to a winning record doesn’t mean a thing. Harbaugh and Marrone took historically bad performance at Stanford and SU and started winning more earlier. It took until year 3 and 4 at Baylor for the same level of change to take hold because it was a more radical transformation .

Actually it was at the 35. But still, the Syracuse/Buffalo Marrone would have likely sent out the soccer player. So maybe he's getting better.

I love the kid. But he wasn't a D-1 QB. Even in the watered down Big East. Marrone is a good coach. It's okay to admit that he and his staff were lousy recruiters.
