Marrone is a phenomenal coach. What he did here was nothing short of incredible.
Doesn't matter.Marrone is a phenomenal coach. What he did here was nothing short of incredible.

More successful than Marrone was in Buffalo. Plus Belichick didn't run away when the going got tough.CLE 1991 6 10 0 .375 3rd in AFC Central – – – –

4 out of 5 losing seasons. If you work at a place where your direct managers want to undermine you to make you look bad, you should find other employment.More successful than Marrone was in Buffalo. Plus Belichick didn't run away when the going got tough.
Did you just claim that Dilfer was a serviceable QB? Check his career TD-Int ratio. Dilfer was trash and probably the worst QB in the history of the league to win a SB. Dilfer is the anti-Marino.
More playoff appearances than Marrone had in Buffalo.4 out of 5 losing seasons. If you work at a place where your direct managers want to undermine you to make you look bad, you should find other employment.
But in that playoff run he made the throws he needed to make. Bortles won't do that this playoffs.
It wasn't that successful. He had one winning season with a cumulative record of 36-44. He lost more games in his last year than his first. He didn't have a career record above .500 until his 4th year with NE. Some people on here killed Marrone for being one game below .500 when he left Buffalo.Belichick didn't quit the Browns. He was fired after five relatively successful years.
Taylor is fine. He has pretty good numbers considering he has an XFL wr corp
It'll be something if the bills, mularkey, and marrone all made the playoffs
Didn't he bail on the Jets immediately after taking the job?More successful than Marrone was in Buffalo. Plus Belichick didn't run away when the going got tough.
Year 4 for BB. Year 4 for DM. Jury's still out.More playoff appearances than Marrone had in Buffalo.

Coach Marrone keeps on winning.
Congrats to him today for squeaking by the 0-10 Browns. What no snarky comments?

Haha not sure what the Bills have to do with your Jags beating the Browns but I knew you would be posting about how great Dougie did today. No surprise here...Go Bills!!! Your boy McDermott rocks!
5 Ints in a half. Good decision there.
But of course a genius like you would rather have him. Par for the course with you.
Marrone's playing with fire a little bit.Marrone and Coughlin continue the turnaround in Jax.
Love it.
I'm trusting the process. I like that he's not afraid to take chances, at least.Go Bills!!! Your boy McDermott rocks!

You know the relation. Doug leaves Buffalo after 9-7 season and Buffalo fans decide Doug sucks and Rex is their new savior. Rex craps the bed. Buffalo fans still feel the sting of being jilted and continue rhetoric that Doug is not a good coach. Even with no real QB to speak of, Doug is still winning in his first year as HC with the Jags. Jacksonville offense ranked 25th in scoring last year... 8th this year. 24th in points allowed last year, 1st this year. Things will look better when they get a QB.Haha not sure what the Bills have to do with your Jags beating the Browns but I knew you would be posting about how great Dougie did today. He won't last. Dime a dozen defensive knucklehead who has no idea what to do on offense.I agree.
But whenever I see him play, Tyrod looks pretty good to me.
I'm not sure I would have made the move at 5-4 with a play-off berth still possible.
Either way, I like Sean McDermott a lot and think he'll succeed on the Niagara Frontier.
