Why why would you want this? This is the issue you and the OP and the anti SU Scoop love. Sorry you feel this way there is 40 minutes in college ball and the fact that everyone wants to send Scoop to the bench so fast is out of control. The guy is a 5th year senior he deserves more love then this on the board. Go scoop and SU screw the haters and you all as posters and fans need to step up. The boys are killing it

I don't really see what the big deal is. Our starting guards were bad in the first half. (And Brandon was pretty bad in the second half as well). I didn't say bench Scoop for the rest of the game. I don't see any problem in getting MCW a few minutes if Scoop and/or Brandon are playing poorly. It's the same kind of ideas as what happened with James and CJ; CJ was awful, James got some minutes and ran with them. Not quite the same because I'm not calling for MCW to play the entire second half. But what's wrong with playing 3 or 4 minutes in the first half?
I'm not a Scoop hater; I think he has been great this year, with the exception of the last few games.
He sure did.
The haters don't seem to get it -- you stick with Scoop, he gets you wins. Not too shabby to see us 33-2 with Scoop as the captain and PG.
You want Scoop pulled in favor of [name your poison], you might look dumb.
Actually, I would prefer to see MCW get some minutes, but not necessarily in the first half of a tough game.
The problem is with fans who rag on Scoop with their smart-alec adjectives -- not accepting that he is our leader and the PG of a 33-2 team that is still on a run.
Give it up to him today -- he had a great game and led the second half surge.

I never got how you guys were in the chat room during games anyway. I'm laser focused on the game, jumping up, hollering, etc. I can't imagine trying to read some scrolling thing and type stuff.

The internet makes some of our thoughts permanent if we choose to let it do so. Sometimes it requires a lot of restraint not to voice our frustrations, and makes us in a sense like players with good performances and some that are less than good. Or if you don't care about anyone else's opinion of you, I guess it doesn't matter. I'm trying to stay positive, and a game like this certainly helps!!

I have stopped with the chat room as well.
I left 5 minutes into the game. First, because the only time I post is to say something stupid after we make a bad play (which makes me part of the problem), and second, it's all negative all the time of late.
At least until Mantonio shows up!!! His devotion never waivers.

This is a good point. This board is where the hardcore fans talk about the team. Its unfiltered during and right after games. Emotions run high. It's like being in a bar watching with your friends. Except here, half the people are looking to take your ass down, act superior, and throw stuff in your face. Just accept it; people vent during games - we are all way too interested in this stuff for our own good anyway or we wouldn't be here.

Because he won a skills com at the Mcdonalds comp? I mean Scoop & Kris are what the team hopes can carry the boys to the finals. The fact you want minutes deemed is a little silly last time I checked Jim fired the troops up and had them roll K state today. I understand a little of your view has to do with Jake but he should have known better then to make a thread like this. It's a 40 minute game not a 1st half. Love Jake and really respect you as a poster on the board however just enjoy the ride guys we are about to make ESPN cry if we keep this up GO CUSE

Like I said, I didn't want Scoop benched. Do you think Scoop should play 40 minutes in a game? I assume you don't. So what is the problem with some of the minutes he sits out going to MCW, especially when the other starting guard is having a poor first half? I'm not saying change the entire substitution pattern.
I don't hate Scoop; I'm a Scoop fan. He should be our starting PG. I want him playing down the stretch when the games matter. 100%. But if he is struggling in the early going, I don't see why you can't put someone else in for a few minutes. That's all. I understand there are some people who are much more anti Scoop than me, and I also understand people get fired up during the games and say stuff they don't really mean, but I don't think I'm off base here and I don't think my comments are unreasonable.

I liked your post trying to let you know I am not trying to be a d*** however Dion, Triche, and Scoop can cover that 40 minute time period. No need to press Mr. High Dribble into the tournament because you feel he needs minutes to grow. This is the tournament not daycare and MCW shouldn't take time from our studs. Play the seniors and hot hands and see what they can do for you. I hate the fact you say "my comments aren't unreasonable" yes they are your feeding the anti scoop trolls. God bless Scoop and Joseph tonight they carried us. Maybe we could have won by 3 points more if MCW got time instead of Triche in the 2nd rotation :bat: . At the end of the day we as a fan base need to man up and support JB and this team if not just rock a MCW jersey and start a chant I guess
