RB, Glen Ellyn, IL.,

I had the pleasure of watching this young man play about a month ago and he rushed for 3 tds and 188 yds on 16 carries against a very solid Proviso West team. He's about 5'8, 170lbs, not huge but he's only a junior. He has several teammates that are being highly recruited in the Class of 2013 in Ruben Dunbar (Undecided) and Nathan Marcus (Vanderbilt).

He plays for undefeated Glenbard West, which is a 7A school, the second largest division in Illinois. He plays on arguably the best high school team in Illinois. Max Preps rates them the #1 team in Illinois and the #59 team nationally. This high school regularly puts kids on Big Ten teams and other colleges throughout the Midwest.

He's got some decent numbers on the season as he's part of a RB committee since the team is just loaded. On very limited touches, 106, he has about 1200 yds rushing and about 1500 all purpose yds with approximately 20 tds thus far. In my opinion, he's a big time talent who is only scratching the surface of his capabilities and is being very lightly recruited. It would be great if SU could get the jump on this kid and make some inroads in the Midwest again. I found a site with his up to date stats for 2012.

hard to believe that the no.1 team in illinois is only no. 59 nationally.

whatever happened to the napierville teams, they were powerhouse teams of the 90's and 20,000 would go to their games. i went to a game and out there in'95 and had to park a mile away to go there.

Retro, I've only been out here since 2004. I have seen some clips of those games they play downstate here in Illinois and the stands are absolutely packed. Glenbard West and North, Mt. Carmel (McNabb's old stomping grounds), Simeon, Fenwick and Brother Rice to name a few schools are good just about every year.
