How would you feel if you went to a job interview and the minute you got home you got a call saying you did not get the job. It would make you feel like you were never really considered and would be very insulted.

MSU was that person getting interviewed. Give it a little time before MSU officially knows they are not getting AW3's services ;)

This actually happened to me once for a promotion at work. I was the last guy to interview and I barely got back to my office when they came and said "yeah, you didn't get it." It was actually kind of comical because I knew it was a longshot and there was a guy really who was a prohibitive favorite. So it was more funny than upsetting. I got the job the next time that same supervisor had one open! So Izzo should keep his chin up!

Hell, my very first interview out of college I was told "Don't call us, we'll call you" as I was escorted into the elevator.

DeCourcy: "I saw a good bit of Andrew for Nebraska and think he can be an asset to any Division I team. He's an above-average athlete, shoots it well from long range and is an excellent rebounder for a player his size.''

King: "He's a really good 3-point shooter. He's obviously big at 6-7, so that's a match-up problem. He's mentally tough and aggressive. He'll get in there and rebound. He's not a softie.''

That reminds me of a joke, what do you call a Philadelphia Eagle with a sb ring

A thief.
Laugh now, but you won't be once WENTZ leads us to the promised land. Ben Simmons is a Sixer. Dino Babers is leading Cuse football. Cuse bball looks stacked and is coming off a FF. Life is good

"Andrew White III will arrive in East Lansing on Saturday afternoon for a brief business trip. This will be no recruiting visit. The 23-year-old already has been everywhere and seen everything.

A graduate transfer from Nebraska, White is the perhaps the most impactful available college basketball player remaining on the market. He's also one of the most well-traveled. A former top-50 prospect, the Virginia native began his career at Kansas and has been around the college game four years.

"I've been through this enough times," White said by phone Friday. "I've seen all the bells and whistles. What will really make or break my decision is what the basketball situation will be."

I think he's already made up his mind.

Is this old or is he going to East Lansing again THIS Saturday?

This is old. I was just seining the net looking for any info. The comment I thought that was interesting was his quote. It seemed to me from the quote he had a pretty good idea what he was looking for.

There's just nothing on the net about AW3 for 7 days now. His last tweets are from June. Maybe today is the day? 8/1 is approaching very fast.

I gotta think he'd either commit today or announce another visit. He pretty much has to pick by the end of next week just to get the paperwork etc done on time right? So if he's seen all he's going to see he might as well commit and gI've himself as much time as possible to get situated. And if he's still looking I'd think he'd be taking that last visit this weekend.

Only exceeded by getting the person who arranged the interview in the first place fired.

My favorite interview experience was the one where I had to travel 2-1/2 hours for an initial interview for a position that was essentially ten minutes from my home. It was arranged through an internal recruiter that was on the opposite coast that had no concept where either office was or how far apart they were. Upon arriving for the interview the receptionist looked at me with a blank stare and said "Interview?...with Dan??" "Hmm, he may be in a meeting." An hour later when they finally found "Dan" or found someone to play the role, I was given my interview. It was clear to me about 5 minutes into the interview that not only was I not getting an offer, but there probably wasn't even a position available.

That's great!

I knew somebody in college who had an interview in Boston. After traveling at his own expense there the night before and staying in a hotel room, he got up early and took a taxi to the interview... only to get stuck in traffic. He got to the building right at 8am, and rushed up to the floor where the interview was, arriving at the office a few minutes later.

When they called him in for the interview, the interviewing manager asked him if he knew that he was late to the interview. My friend acknowledged that he was and apologized, the guy told him thanks for coming in and ended the interview. Tough lesson for a soon-to-be-college graduate.

Always got a kick out of that.
