When another poster suggested he should recheck his source Mike replied, " I heard it from White himself".

That would seem to be a fairly reliable assessment of where things stand.

lol that's such a bizarre thing to say - he's going to visit another school, but he doesn't know which school or when he will? This is eerily similar to when TT said he "had to go another visit before I commit", then he went to MSU, even though it sounded like he didn't really want to.

My hope/thought is White feels good about us, but feels like he needs to do his due diligence just in case. The fact that (if McAlister is right) White doesn't even know which school he wants to visit essentially means he has no #2, he's just doing it to do it. I actually feel more confident now if those were White's actual words.

Its gotta be a tough situation. AW worked out for like 5 nba teams recently as we all know, there must be teams with at least slight holes like us who are dying to land him.must be tough to not at least listen to their pitches.

If he does come to SU with no other visits, i cant help but think one of those GMs or (asst) coaches , that he worked out for, told him explicitly he should think about going to play for a HOF coach like JB if he wanted to get over the nba hump

I've been thinking if the whole point of transferring is to get notice then why not visit as many schools as you can. The more exposure the better for AW3 brand recognition. I didn't even want to make this comment because I want him here sooner than later.

You get noticed on the court. That won't happen at VCU; Miami he'd have a big role but they won't be a perennial top 25 team; UConn has 2 PGs who are ball dominant and play in the AAC.

I will be shocked if Coleman plays more than 15 minutes a game this year. He couldn't get off the ground at all last year. He survived the year, but his game will be completely below the rim from here on out.

Chukwu is going to be a difference maker in the middle of the zone. DC will get the starts out of respect and seniority, but by December, I expect that Pascal will be the guy getting the important minutes in the middle of the defense.

This team, whether or not we get White, is built to be a running team. We have guys build for getting up and down the court, a very "vertical" team, to borrow a phrase from football. This team is going to be very big, and we are going to run like crazy.

Lydon will be the trailer on the break, and hopefully White will do that, too. He could be like a Southerland on this team. Gillon and Battle get down the floor and get to the rim. That's their game. Roberson, Moyer and Thompson for rebounding and making outlet passes to start the break. That's the offense this year. Giddy Up!
