I hope my gut is right but I think he's coming here. I have no info, but I think he wants to be the man and the number one option that plays get called for on offense. After this year it's all but guaranteed at SU after Battle bounces. At Duke he would be like the 8th option and next year he might move to 4th or even be recruited over.

As much as he might want to say he played for Duke...it's just not the right fit for how he wants his skills and talents to be show cased.

And consider: He was going to play here for what, two years? It's possible that he could develop into a starter by his junior or senior year at Duke. I don't think it's out of the question for him to want to go to college for four years. There isn't a financial need for him to leave early, his parents might want him to get his degree, and he strikes me as someone who is going to have a good time in school.

What they mean is that, should he come here, he would be asked along with Tyus and TT, to pretty much handle all the scoring. It is going to inflate his numbers and give him the opportunity to showcase his skills for NBA scouts, which in turn would get him to the league quicker(which we all know is his first priority).

It is glaringly obvious, however, it seems nobody wants to admit that JBs attitude and the Zone are major points that other coaches can use when negatively recruiting against us. The dome doesn't hold the mystique it used to and our "newer" facilities are being surpassed each year. We are not playing on the same field as everyone else either. Sadly I think our golden years are behind us. We had multiple chance from 08-12 and blew them all, whether it was injury or underachieving.

Ask yourself what you would do if you were Tucker? Oh and remove the orange colored glasses first. Duke sucks on the teet of over exposure more than ANY school including UK... The sports media loves to suckle Dukes ladyparts and its indisputable. This guy thinks he can beat out any other recruits for playing time and the Big boy came calling at the midnight hour

If we miss out on Tucker, would the best option be to land a player like Thorpe, slide him in at the 2, and go with a three guard lineup? Battle at least has the size to play defensively on the back line.

Most of us are grown men/women/other. It's weird to tweet at a 17/18 year old kid regardless of if they're a great athlete or not. If they come here, great. But I'm not going to tweet at them and tell them to.
