I think it's really him as there are lots of informal pictures of him on his Facebook page that I don't think would be available just over the internet. Pictures that were taken with him holding his own cell phone. Pretty cool that our young Michael is this well connected. He's got lots of top talent wanting to play with him.. first NN, now Shabazz.

My take is that he is interested in exploring Syracuse because he would be interested in playing with both MCW and NN. I gotta believe JB and Hop are on top of this though. If not hopefully Michael will mention it lol. As others have posted, if this is legit, we should at the very least explore it...

personally i dont think this is a real account, i find it odd that the #1 player in the country would only have 51 facebook friends, and mookie jones is one of them..something seems off about that.

There is a post on his page that shows his old account with thousands of friends and over 900 friend requests. People do start new Facebook pages. MCW just did. Unless you think his is fake too. We can agree to disagree and I guess I can just be dumb as a rock lol

For a fake account, someone has a lot of free time on their hands. I'm jealous. Needless to say, he is friends with Trevor, MCW, DC2 and Mookie plus a bunch of people who live in the 315. It would be great wishing and hoping, but we will leave the recruiting up to JB and Hop and company.

More like normal. Logic is this: 50 friends for a #1 high school recruit? More like in the thousands. Most of those 50 friends are Syracuse related? Never heard of any interest in Syracuse?

I don't know if you've heard, but being moderately "street smart" with Facebook is not so weird or sad in 2012.
