So... Did Benny end up going to practice?

If we play anyone other than Kentucky in the 96 final, I’m convinced we win. They were the best team perhaps in that decade.

Wallace was going to Danny Manning us to a title otherwise. His Sr season was ridiculous. That baseline spin move was sick.
You could argue that Kentucky team was one of the best teams ever in terms of NBA talent- weren’t there something like 9 first round picks on that roster?

And agree- anybody but the Cats and we are winning that title….

I guess core values like loyalty and camaraderie aren't what they used to be.
Benny is done in my book. He either returned so that he wouldn't have to return NIL money, and/or because someone explained to his team that there's no point in leaving during the middle of the season.
Some of you guys really are Neanderthals when discussing things like depression, anxiety, and mental health.
There are far more important things in the world than a basketball game. #1: grow up. It’s a game. #2: Benny Williams and his family don’t know who you are, and they don’t care if he’s done in your book.

If Z doesn’t get hurt, we win.

Keep in mind Burgan missed 7 games.

That was the biggest reason for a couple losses.

It’s probably a 21-11 team with Burgan all year and a 23-9 team with Walton too. Front court would’ve been monstrous, and with Walton there to play the 4, Burgan could’ve probably helped even more with the ball handling - which the freshman Hart needed.

Burgan ended up mostly playing the 4 out of necessity.
He was welcomed back with open arms

You’re trying to make this into something it’s not, because you’ve got an angle to try to get over. There’s zero indication that it’s anything you just said, and frankly that’s unfair to him to even insinuate those are the issues.

He’s mad he’s not playing well or a lot.

As was the pull up jumper. That shot was unstoppable and so unique. Still surprised he didn't make a bigger splash in the league. Still have my signed Jdub Knicks jersey hanging up.

Didn’t Pitino run off on McD AA to bring in a freshman kid that hurt us I think Roderick Rhodes was one of the two

I think a lot of it is him being mad at himself for not doing as much as he thought he'd be able.

Biggest mistake was going back to the Knicks the second time IMO. They were trying to grind wins out with veteran forwards. Should’ve stayed in Toronto, he was doing well there.

Yep

Yeah likewise. I don't know them either. Unlike some on this forum, I post my honest thoughts, irregardless of whether or not it speaks positively of current players or potential recruits. I would hope that's what recruits and their families would want, rather than fake sycophantic drivel.

This really isn’t a mental health issue, like Billy Edelin or Jeremy McNeil. Or Simone Biles.

And you’re not exactly empathetic when it comes to other issues, including those involving young, Black men.

As far as we know, exactly.

And frankly, it’s disrespectful to those with mental health issues to try to pigeon hole everything into a mental health issue.

Stress, pressure, disappointment, and frustration can get the best of people. Doesn’t mean he’s depressed or has anxiety, smh.

And you know what? If it does turn out to be a mental issue, I’ll admit I was wrong.

One thing you can almost guarantee is JB says ‘Benny had his best practice of the year’ or something to that effect- whether it’s true or not ‍♂️
