It's not like the coaches all get together in a room and decide on the rankings. We could have passed them even though no single coach switched the order. For example, if two coaches last week had it #2 OSU, #3 Mizzou, #4 Kansas and #5 SU, then moved us to 3 this week, I think that would be enough for us to "jump" OSU.

They never make sense to me. How is Lville even ranked? They have 5 losses and I can't remmember if they ahve any good wins. Guess they are running out of teams to keep in there.

Those BIG10 schools are really stacking the loss collumn these days.

Especially after only a "disputed" home win and a fairly close win in the "greater Syracuse" area (Cincinnati).

It is clear that people thought Cuse was cooked after that poor ND game. Without Melo, they voted for doom and gloom. When it did not happen, they voted accordingly.

Agree. We havent been that great without Melo but we've still won 2 out of 3 in a tough 3 game stretch. Probably tougher than any 3 game stretch UK has in the SEC. As bad as weve looked, UK hasnt looked that much more impressive against weaker competition w/ their team at full strength.

Obviously the polls and refs are just trying to give us a false sense of security.
