Actually, the woman Taurean's mom should talk to is Matt Moyer's mom, an educator who is very involved and concerned with her son's academic welfare. Annette Moyer could easily allay any concern about SU and academics or the coaching staff that Taurean's mom may have.

The Moyers are incredibly nice people. Matthew is already my favorite player besides TL. It's going to be tough competition this season. I think Mrs. Thompson should think about how well her son will do having Matthew as an influence. The kid has top-notch character.

Our staff and the other schools involved still have no clue where he's headed. So he wouldn't be currently working anything out with any school specifically if there were academics to be corrected. Our staff expected this to be wrapped up in our favor a few weeks back until the MSU visit suddenly came along. So they would gladly accept his commitment at anytime.

And I was just starting to think that maybe the coaching staff had a pretty good idea what was going on. I guess not, based on what you're saying. If that's the case, I can't imagine how frustrated they are! What a big pile of dung this has become. Bizarro.

By the way, Francis, are you able to comment on whether the concern(s) that mom had were staff, academic, b-ball, or distance related? I believe it was you a while back that said her concerns seemed like they were addressed on the last visit.

My thinking cap says that MSU probably told her to hold off and give them a look before deciding. I'm sure plenty of Cuse bashing was included as well.

Zagoria is really good but I'm thinking he's really keyed into this recruitment because Seton Hall is (was) a player and he covers them closely because he works for SNY.

This thread is a tribute to the masochistic fans in our midst and the genuine humor inherent in being a fan. Even the most seasoned and knowledgeable analysts are rattled by TT's status and decision-making process. It's fascinating stuff no matter our individual responses to the continuing saga as detailed by Air Force Orange. Most of us would like to see him in orange, many are flipping out with the lack of a decision, and many are finding great humor in this thread and the epic nature of TT's recruitment. Thanks to all of you, (well, most of you), for making this thread so much fun. I want Taurean to commit but think this thread has some life left to it. I've got to think the end of the saga will be exciting with a potentially exhilarating ending for SU fans. Whatever else, he's creating a buzz...
