Terry Lockett out for the season

Barclay shoudl see a bunch of time against Wagner. 6'7 and 277lbs. I know he jsut moved over to DL this summer but I would imagine he's up to probably 280+. The walk on Wright from Solvay might be an option as well - 6'3 and 273.
Agreed Jeremy...Wagner should be basically be a controlled scrimmage. Hey if we win 42-17 that is okay if the staff got film on a bunch of 2nd and 3rd string guys.

Well, be interesting to see how we shift gears here. I thought we were fine on DL barring injury even without picking up people from the portal and that held true up until this. So it definitely sucks, but taking a wait and see here.

Veterrelo should be the best bet to actually do well if he was switched over being a center.

Who is his backup? Hes probably been #5 of our linemen this year. The guy behind him could end up being better and he could do well on the other side of the ball.

There not moving a starting OL to the DL under almost any circumstance.

Yep, I knew Hough was out and Barclay is not going to play thats why I listed them last, But man that's it for depth. Those are the biggest guys on the roster who play DL. Scary.
Barclay played DL in HS and he is motivated to play there. Let's see how he does against Wagner. Edit: he has an injury but might not be ready this week.

Dino is in charge. Ultimately the blame lies there. Not sure anyone here knows if TW pushed for a late add or not.
But to blame Dino without any knowledge isn’t any better. Tony White is in charge of the defense, he bears some blame. Maybe he said no other players were worth going after besides the ones we lost out on.

Edit, I am not really trying to blame TW, but don’t agree with just assigning blame without facts.

NO idea if he can play DT but Jakob Bradford would be an interesting guy to look at . Clearly not getting on the fieldd at OT and is listed at 6'5 302. Again probably just throwing crap at the wall at this point but if were looking to move another OL he would seem to fit the bill.
Agreed...with basically two weeks before another real opponent...time to pound a round peg into a square hole. Take 2 or 3 reserve OL and see if they can get one or two stop gap players.

I'm a military man and my lens says this:

Dino is the Commander.

I'm a huge DB supporter but I thought it was a mistake back in the summer not to bring in another warm body at interior DL after the UCF kid picked Michigan.

After 2018 we did not have personnel to field a decent OL, now we have no depth at DL, sooner or later Dino has to be responsible for his teams personnel issues. I am sick of people who always give Dino a pass. Ultimately he is the guy responsible for all success and failure. I hope he can pull a DL out of his current roster, because this promising season depends on it.

I don’t think anyone always gives Dino a pass.

This is the main reason we went to a 3-3-5 defense. We couldn’t get defensive lineman to commit.
