so the refs go to the replay to dig up a wrong call. this is not going to end well. on top of it verne and raftery have no idea what the hell they are talking about. this is a show.

Its not a wrong call, by rule its a technical. question the rule not the refs enforcing it.

Only it is a wrong call because the elbow only occurs after contact to cooney and in space that is established by the offensive player

Yep. (1) Dayton player initiates the contact; (2) is basically in Cooney's shorts when Cooney turns with his elbow; (3) Dayton player continues his slide into Cooney, virtually undercutting him. If that's a flagrant on Cooney, then that rule has to be changed!-VBOF
