Don't give up on the other games!Pitt
BC
SMU
UNC
Duke
all winnable. Also, all you can lose. The rest i'd give us 1/10 chance. Going to be tough getting to 6. I say we go 2-3/3-2 in the winnable games, which is obviously not enough for a bowl.
I want to be wrong but whoever was touting the offensive line in the preseason was feeding us a line of…….The OL along with the mess of a defense that ERob and Wright have constructed….i just don’t see it. Will we be favored in another game this season? Maybe UNC?
BCS? Now that's an acronym that's been dormant for over 10 years.I severely disagree.
Don’t get too caught up in the beer muscles from Colgate. We are a week from nearly losing to UCLOWN who lost to a non-BCS team yesterday.
Erob will never be replaced by Fran.Offseason moves I’d like to see if Fran is serious about accountability:
- new OL coach who has a strong resume
- new DC e.g. an up n coming Tony white
- “demote” E to co-DC in name only
They got smoked in week 1 but proceeded to rip of 6 straight wins and score big doing so. The team isn't the same between the OL changes and Mafah being gone. They finished the year with 3 losses relatively spread out. Not only did they lose to LSU but looked uninspired vs Troy in what should have been a rebound game and then to lose to Tech the way they did ... this isn't the same Clemson.Yes, Dabo will not lose his team. They started poorly last year and won the ACC.
That last second loss can go either way. If they believe their season is already over, or that they really aren’t very good, they might be somewhat demoralized. FSU last year and Louisville in Dungey’s Sr. year are examples of teams with high expectations that packed it in for the year early. Clemson when DJ U. was QB was a mess, despite all the talent. When teams start to doubt themselves they can unravel. Getting similar vibes with Klubnik.Yup. The last second loss to GT was not good for us. We will get their best shot.
The roster is loaded with projected NFL talent. And, their schedule is favorable relative to getting FSU and SMU at home. I would not be surprised to see them play in the conference championship.
